BNS lets make a deal
Not sure what was on the CEO mind, but I bet he regrets it now after the market speaking. Since he took over the reins, the stock value did very little.

Also a Buyer today. I suspect that Scotiabank took a very, very close look at this acquisition. They know they are being watched closely.

Non-Bank CEOs have not worked out well in the vast majority of cases. Over paying for a minority interest in a dog Bank in the States is a prime exmaple. However, the Board going along with this also
