I have noticed the shorters showing up between 9:35 and 10:35 on many occasions including today. They drive the share price down then flip positions. Of course this stock is being played.

Possibly, but Fresnillo is the best operator to have in that part of the world. George has constantly said that "they are looking for opportunities that would be accretive to shareholders".
