because Tilray is more expensive; the spread between the two companies may even be more than .84 (I think it is a bit) so you're better off waiting for the formal transfer

Why would I not sell all my Aphria right now and buy Tilray ? Rather then wait for the merger at approx .8 ? I'd end up at over 1:1 Am I missing something ?

We are at months end, Cusp of merger I expect that once official there will be some massive instituional rebalancing that will squeeze hard. It's a when not if.
