On his seeking alpha blog he said he wont be taking up the rights. I seriously doubt any current minority shareholders will be able to afford to.

here is roughly calculation. 30 b shares when SP at 30s and right offering, now SP at 0.16, share count will increase to 50 to 60 b to get same amount of money, SP will be 1/30 five days ago.

Since Glencore is already committed to full description, which means it would pick up all the shares that not suscribed by retail. Therefore the ratio should not change, that is my understanding
