Technical analysis says it will bounce at 50.75. So getting it below 50 dollars may be pushing it.

Longholder...up to you and depends on how long your hold is in terms whether there are better preferreds.  IMO since the BCE H  preferreds are floating you are less likely to get some ...more

Perhaps....but in the meantime the preferreds pay 15c a month and didn't drop 2% today.  9.96% div.  Rates have to drop 3% to even that out with the common shares.  Which I'm ...more

I've only recently been digging into preferreds, so my take here may be wrong, but BCE.PR.H is a floater until the next reset in May 2026. And the yield on par of the fixed rate twin is ony 3.37%. ...more

Defensive, should do well at peak rates and likely to decent... then why the heck is the sector trading down so steadily? Makes no sense
