Does any one know the tax implication of the transaction? What would be the adjusted cost base of the TRP and SOBO shares after the distribution of SOBO shares to the TRP shareholders?

Given that those holding are entitled to SOBO at this point, I wonder if it makes sense to sell TRP near the open while the price hasn't yet completely adjusted to the downward pressure?

BS - the notice on RBC Action Direct says SOBO shares in accounts by OCT 3RD, which is tomorrow. Their phone line says you can trade .2 of your TRP holdings today if you want to.

It closed at $48.38 U.S. last night, so down $3,39 from the close. If that valuation holds through the opening those of tus that help our TRP shares through the trnasition are going to be VERY happy ...more
