when the broker gets an order to buy 200,000 shares and he can't fill it thru' the institutional desk he buys in bits & pieces untill he fills the 200,000. the broker then crosses the 200 ...more

Why wouldn't you add up all shares traded on all exchanges. A share bought and sold is just that no matter what exchange. The float has turned over  and houses in the US are doing thier ...more

these numbers are wrong. From what I see , I think , whenyou look at a total for a day, it is all exchanges. You do not add them all up. So there was 54 million on Friday and some 8 m today. I may be ...more

There won't be any counter offers

That is, unless the deal goes dead with IAMGOLD in 2 months and the definitive agreement expires over a shareholder no vote which may not be needed by then to gain a majority with the entire float ...more
