I've been reading Robin's analysis on JOV (as well as others) for many years.   He's been totally wrong on this one.

unless there is a massive buying in the first 3 days of next week I don't see a big selloff on ex-dividend day because hardly anybody bought this stock after the divi was announced, probably less ...more

I don't own the stock anymore - Just follow it.   Most recently I bought it around 7.60 in July 2011.  Sold above 12 in April. Like you I figured there was some value in the hodge podge ...more
