geez, what a dead stock, if it wasn't for me the volume today would be zero, haha. Wasted a month on nothing. Now back to making some money

RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Like I said

at $60 mil. market cap, close to profitabilty and $6 bil. in assets JOV is a real takeover target IMHO. Gluskin has the same amount of assets but a $230 mil. cap and the only claim to fame it has is ...more

hopefully management now concentrates on the fundamentals and running the company instead of trying to make a quick buck selling some part of the business

RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Like I said

actually the stock was in limbo since the summer 2011 when the management started all this wheeling and dealing selling off subsidiaries. Now hopefully some sanity can come back into the stock

RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Like I said

the stock should start moving now, it was frozen for the last 3 weeks because of the Due Bill

RE: RE: RE: RE: Like I said

hopefully no more special dividends or the stock price will be zero at this rate, haha

RE: RE: RE: Like I said

by the time a special divi is announced it's already in the stock price, only fools and greenhorns buy, man

RE: RE: RE: Like I said

$6.58 is a good price, only the bid is too low. I have to wait for a higher bid to sell probably next week. Any fiscal cliff resolution will be good for JOV

RE: RE: Like I said

RE: Like I said

that's why I said don't sell on the ex-divi day when everybody is rushing to the exits, wait a few days and the stock will improve like it did after the last special dividend. It's already ...more

Like I said

Its declined by the $3.  Same amount as the dividend.   I'd think it will go lower.  The only thing that will hold it / pull it back up is if they sell other operating divisions and ...more

RE: Advanced fundamental analysis & extreme valuat

can't wait for this insanity to end tomorrow, it's been too long. Are we gonna get the dividend electronically into the trading accounts or by a check in the mail, anybody knows?

RE: RE: CNQ owns 30% of JOV?

I don't think Murray Edwards will be selling his shares on ex-divi day after he makes $20 mil., he's not that stupid. He'll think of something to save his investment in JOV
