MFC, the biggest holding , continues on to new highs... up over 1% again the start the day..

LFE unit nav to Nov 12 = approx; $17.59
So after adjusting for the higher cash position i have the unit nav gaining $1.28 since OCt 31 .. all 4 CAD lifecos up today as well as the 4 US insurers in the fund. LFE finished the day in the

Full update now working, LFE @ %18 cash to OCT 31
So had to adjust down some of the holdings. Now the gains i have at ONLY $1.21 from OCT 31.. still a considerable jump up in value. Commons would be valued @ $7.52...

LFE unit nav to NOV 11 = $17.63
Showing a gain f $1.32 cents since OCt 31 and that values the common shares @ $7.63 ... Last trade was at $6.80 and leaves a discount of 83 cents or about 10.8%

Does anyone have thoughts on M Split (XMF)? If MFC can hold on, XMF.C will pay a dividend of ~8% based on the current price. XMF.A looks especially intruging, especially MFC continues to climb

Lifecos on fire and LFE UNIT NAV approaches 18$
Spreadsheet now showing the UNIT NAV at about $17.75... and all 4 lifecos go ex divvy this month.

I respectfully disagree -- if in the month or two prior to Oct.31 you bought to play the retraction arb you would have followed through with the retraction. My best guess is that 20-25% of FFN and LFE
