IMO its not an issue at all. Especially if a company with a high LMR takes over Zargon. Zargon currently has an LMR of 1.18 which is above the 1 . threshold. Dec 2018 and that is up from 1

Problem with these fellows that I suspect is the size of decommissioning liabilities. If you consider this as debt, then valuation moves from sub $10,000 per flowing to around $41,000. At that price

As you know I follow this company a lot - the debenture extension wasn't deceitful, they probably believed (erroneously) that asset valuations and oil prices would recover and they haven't

That is not the issue. I chose not to hold shares in companies that engages in deceitful dealings. They are not likely to be successful.

LOL - in terms of risk vs reward I think the following was a better scenario for debenture holders................. Accept PIK interest in March Preserve seniority ahead of common equity.
