I was more impressed with Newport than Gear. I really like the idea of the royalty stream and the market pricing down under. Had a good call with Beach Energy regarding their plans for the Cooper ...more

Rad, we start to see a few transactions where there is significant ARO (ex Paramount asset sale to BNP). I do have faith CH will do his best but how much will be deducted for ARO by the buyer/merge ...more

reclamation costs hold it back

making it really almost worthless... but ??? the value couild be here. $60 mill at least in well rehabs costs if given over thru bankruptcy... so many inactive well bores.  hell that is $3 a ...more

365,000 shares so far in November (I may have inadvertently sold him 1/3 of it) or 1.6% of O/S. Never did that in the recent past as far as I know. The intrinsic value of the company is at least $1.00 ...more

C.H. has been buying this recent dip. At least a little tiny bit of positive news in all of the doom and gloom.  WCS suffering again due to CN strike.

Worth a read. Negative $1M cashflow partially due to lower WCS. Also, they changed strategy. They are focused on a business combination it seems and because of this, are spending money to reduce the ...more
