Perhaps the payment had to be above a threshhold for the withholding to apply or maybe RBC was wrong to withhold, as I had filled out a W-8BEN-E. I tried arguing with them to no avail. ...more

I found with RBC that the withholding deduction would be applied a week or two later. To see, I had to go back and search the log for everything to do with HOT.UN.
