doesnt work that way. Company requests a halt  which they did. They dont tell the exchanmge to resume trading now! This is now out of there control the exchange is now in control. Stubbs

How about a press release from the company saying "We are final negotiations for the sale of the company.  Once a firm transaction has been completed, further details will be released.  ...more

I don't get the Canadian stock exchanges when it comes to this stuff sometimes - you'd never see a US listed stock halted for 4 hours of trading with no news.

So they were obviously talking over night. They reached a conclusing this morning and halted the stock.   Drafting up PR and needs to be reviewed by BOD and other parties. News out after market ...more

Another possibility

Management may come out saying they refused the low offer, and base it on valuations of the firm they hired to evaluate lakeside.Just a thought. (wishful thinking maybe) we will see!!!

nice to see the halt. hopefully it is a done deal and will be congratulating investers that bought in recently.
