I am a proud owner of BPYU and prefered Y,XT,E series as well BPYUP prefered. What is the argument for owning the MLP? I have a hard time justifying the headache for the K1 nightmare.

You should know better that BPY payout ratio has nothing to do with the FFO. They could go on for years with payout higher than 100%. They always maintained the dividend from asset profits sales. Stop

Wow, such ignorance. BPY is only buoyed by the tender, if not, it would be around 10% lower. BPY has higher debt and pays out way over 100 AFFO. Riocan is going to get lit, any day

Good point. Riocan is riskier, pays a lower dividend, and the share price underperforms BPY, I think I'll just swap my shares.

The number one reason I have $0 invested in riocan is financial backing in a very uncertain and volatile market. BAM will always be there to pick up cheap shares, or bail out, or have funds available
