This morning cibc is  showing $167 a share woohoo... Yes it's 30 high but it gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling

BMO Glitch post split

They recorded double the shares but neglected to change the "Current Share Price" of $137.29. So at least for the duration of the weekend my acounts are bloated by scores of thousands $$$.

Well said. Far from shorting CIBC, I think it proves they  are a good bank. I would not invest in a Bank that lends to low lifes that don't pay their bills.

Split shares tomorrow

split is active May 16 2022 I received messages from all my brokerages that all orders will be cancelled( normal)  I bought this last week, I hope the split and market fears going away ...more

It says May 16 for split,but my question for the pundits is, will the divvy be half of what it is now? I assume so as the stock price is half,so the divvy should be the same. Thanks
