RE:Buyout price would be circa $400m

FM share price is up since it agreed ot pay $470mm for Lumina.  It has a smaller resource just at PEA stage and it's in Argentina.  In most respects DM seems more attractive. The key ...more

Buyout price would be circa $400m

At a takeout price of $1 a share the equity cost would be $150m.  Anto is asking for about $230m to compensate then for sunk costs and loans.   Add in transaction costs etc and the final ...more

RE:RE:Is this very bad news?

The "ounces in the ground" value of what DM has identified so far makes it worth about $3 a share.  If they were to try to sell it for any less than that, every class-action law firm ...more

RE:Is this very bad news?

It is incredible and highly unlikely (impossible?) that DM has not considered the possibility that Anto would not exercise its option. Obviously they could try to float more shares in a private ...more

Is this very bad news?

Before this annoucement DM was expected to receive a whopping sum of cash from Anto and then use some of this cash to fund DM's 40% of the large TMM capital costs and to have money to develop the ...more

RE:any info on dial in conference call this am?

I have never heard of an analyst's call not being made available to the public - I assume that DM has the legal right to restrict inside information to analysts, but it certainly is "best ...more

The standstill is still in force, so Anto cannot buy under prevailing circumstances. But other majors could now be interested since they could now acquire cheap control of DM and therefore control of ...more

RE:RE:Getting interesting

I thought I read that Anto cannot buyout DM due to some clause or written rule. I have to research it more. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

any info on dial in conference call this am?

Missed it and the operator said it was not being recorded.

RE:Getting interesting

What is stopping Anto from buying the shares on the market at the current price??

Getting interesting

I suspect the PFS will be spectacular. The 1x NAV for the additional 25% would have cost Anto big bucks. Will be interesting to see if there becomes a bidding war for Duluths 60%. I suspect everything ...more

RE:RE:RE:ANTO...

You could be right but getting the project through the EPA approval stage could be easier if the co is owned by a NA co. At least promoters could argue that it is a NA success story (even if DM is Cdn ...more

RE:RE:ANTO...

IMO - It was strictly a financial move on Anto'sd part as they will end up owning most of the deposit and Deluth with no aditional cash outlays. The positive is that this shows they are definately ...more
