You dont report Divys in registered accounts and even in a cash trading account you get a Canadian corp dividend tax credit......So you may NOT be at a loss. I also beleive the share price will be $53

Keep on dreaming. this thing is stuck in the mud . The 8% divy will be meaningless if tts range bound between 45-50$ by then and u'll have to report divy income to CRA. its a LOSS LOSS

Well if it hits $53 in the next 12 months (very possible) and you add the 8%+ divy, that gives a 20% gain. Not sure what you think a good return is, but 20% is great imho.
