The answer to this is pretty simple: They wanted the shares in a certain timeframe and within a certain price band. If they exercise before the 31st of last year, they get the Bravada

Sometimes warrants carry voting rights or special voting rights with them. Also, if exercised, warrants can sometimes give you the option to purchase future warrants, usually at a higher price.

Why would an institution excercise warrants above market price?- especially if the warrants are good for 2 years? What's the hurry? Why not just buy in the market cheaper? Other than perhaps

American Creek/Teuton hit 241 m of 0.8g/ton of gold and both stocks go up 50%? I can understand Teuton b/c of the low share float, but AMK has over half the float of BVG and people are valuing
