Since FTN 's NAV is figured in CAD , RY dividend is $1.42. My spreadsheet has FFN UNIT NAV @ $16.28 before distributions. FFN commons then have a value of $6.09 after dsitributions. The last ...more

Exchange rate 72.33 cents. Includes approx. 1.3 cents for Ry dividend went ex- div today

CAD down about 1 % vs USD since JULY 15

It makes it easy to calculate the net in CAD for each US holding. Just move the decimal over 2 spots. And that result is what you add to the US holding.

So commons shares of FFN WOULD BE valued at approx: $16.08 after 19 cents in dist. RY went ex divvy today, and FFN gains since JULY 15th are 3 cents more than FTN's , mostly due to USB gains ...more
