Hi Carena. I expect that no one backdates dividend info because that is fraught.  TMX gets it Friday and reports, brokers get it from Thomson Reuters or whoever and update on Monday.  ...more

Ex dividend date

My broker Rbc shows the date for all Brookfield office as sept 16 with payment on sept 27

This morning the TSX website finally updated its dividend information showing ex-dividend September 13th, payable September 27th

Yes but buying and selling preferred is much different than regular shares gets frustrating at times.

Weird indeed.   I would have thought immediate partial fill from hidden bids at $15 or higher, followed by fill of remainder (or not) at your $15 ask. Is that what you were thinking ...more

Very weird put sell in 18500 shares at 15 and all filled took 15 min but lowest was 15.02 with most at 15.05 and 15.08
