book value is a fictitious term in my books but $4.50 is certainly possilbe but I doubt much more than that. the market would be paying a lot more than $3.70 this morning if the smart people ...more

$4.20?? Isn't book value above $4.50? Smart REIT is trading at almost 1.5 times NAV with a yield under 5%. They could easily pay book for OneREIT and the deal would be accretive on several ...more

It's often a suggestion they're thinking of a big move like selling the reit because it gives a bigger profit than cruising along collecting rents. Or maybe Smartcentres that is associated ...more
