Well, SBS did not pull out of the deal. Mannkind did.For plant based insulin to overtake competition, it has to be much cheaper. According to the company, it is 30% cheaper to make.Maybe they can

Just to see how disappointing this is, if all the warrants are taken up, the number of shares will have been tripled. The warrants can be exchanged for shares in the next 36 months at a strike price

Operational plant based insulin is still a theory.Not proven still that is it 30% cheaper to make.SBS does have convincing arguments.Hydresia scale up is indicative of how cheap it can be but you have

One year of cash
So we got 1 year of cash, will extend life to Q3 2010 or so...Positive news.We will get final PI/PII insulin results by then....Insulin is what 2 years away?This move the stock up on my tracking list.
