A quick look at the opening quotes indicates yesterdays close of $10.62 will be followed by opening trades somewhere in the $9.80 range, not very encouraging.

This mornings conference call

The conference call was typical of most conference calls in that nothing startling was announced the speakers reminded me of a bunch of political BS and of little value.

an increase of 7% today which leads me to believe investors are expecting good news when the 1st quarter financials are released tomorrow morning. By tomorrow morning we should know if the news is ...more

Just looking at the annual meeting brochure and what jumped out at me 1.If I counted right 6 of the 13 directors have NO common shares in HBC other than DSU's     Seems a bit odd 2 ...more

Hudson's Bay and Riocan have a condinational agreement to sell the store upon the purchaser arranging financing,,,,for $675 million this is public knowledge deal expected to be confirmed as a sale ...more
