IMHO it should raise SP because they feel the current share price is undervalued...or they percieve the midterm conditions favourable for higher SP... tthey could then sell those shares at a higher

FFN unit nav to MAy 24 = approx; $16.14
FFN showing a loss of 4 cetns today , as the rebounding CAD hurt the US holdings in FFN... Commons shares would have a value fo $6.14 before distributions and about $5.95 after they are accounted for.
