Interactive brokers.  It's way cheaper than others.  Questrade was like 3% more so I switched

All I know is that on Wednesday my margin rate went from 5.22% to 4.78% and past 2 weeks REIT yields that I own have went up 0.25%.    So effectively a nice 65bp spread for really no reason. ...more

Today confirms the "joke" trading this week

Bond yields down, VNQ and  markets rallying, every REIT on the tsx is diving, like all of them.   either a big reversal is coming soon today or they are just manipulating us lower

MANIPULATION

You can always spot the manipulation on CAD reits like in June when the  yields literally went up almost 100bp just as BOC cut and fed was getting ready too.... same thing is happening this week ...more

BOLD BET

My  borrowing rate is  now  4.78% at IIRB...and reit yields are going up.  VNQ is up everyday.. this is a no brainer.  shorts are scum here
