BCE did not go into debt in order to provide a Dividend. The Debt is due to growth on their networks and other non-core assets they purchased, which they are now selling. The dividend is safe.

There has been plenty Insider Buys. Robert Sommonds recently purchased $500k worth of common shares March 14, 2024. Last month the CEO also purchased $500k worth of shares all above current price.
