They cant buy the shates back until they are making wads of dough. An example is BHP who does it because they are making billions in profit. Cheers Wilfse3

Totally agree wilf9. A reverse stock split has rarely if ever worked to do anything but set the stock up for even larger downs. If you buoy the price up with nothing to back up the price increase,

A 1 for 5 split is the stupidous thing they could do it answers no problems and even at 1 for 10 is a desperation act, used to placate investors and descends gradually. Perfect examples are Nortel and
