RE: Is it true......Heavymoney Heavymoney I've worked with mining companies for many years. It is true low grade ore is usually not mined because of cost verses profit ratio. We refer to it as,"Cut off grade". The same would be true for a diamond mine. That being said, there are exceptions, such as when the low grade ore is sandwiched between high grade lenses. the total overall grade is calculated and if profitable, mined. The same would be true with Dor's ground. In fact, even more so due to the fact diamond distribution is eratic and undefined compared to say, gold or copper lenses. For disclosure purposes, I am not a geologist. Just a mining guy. Have a good one...Mad
