Canadian Operations segment includes the exploration for, development of, and production of oil, NGLs, natural gas and other activities within Canada. Market Optimization segment is primarily responsible for the sale of the Company’s production to third-party customers and enhancing the associated netback price. The segment’s activities also include third-party purchases and sales of product to provide operational flexibility.

"...what is the net asset value of eca ? " That just depends what value you place on the landholding of eca. The unknown asset value of ECA could be be a multiple of the known asset value.( asset value = book value?? or capitalisation??) Since asset value is based on commodity price in this instance,one has to be a clairvoyance to know what the asset value of this company could be tomorrow.
