Project Updates from CMD

Project Updates from CMDNewfoundland Uranium: - Airborne radiometric, magnetic and Electromagnetic survey is almost complete. The survey has gone fast due to favourable weather conditions. We should have data in hand very soon. (see News Releases #06-07 and #06-15) - The survey is being flown at 100 metre line spacing so resolution and detail should be good. The combination of radiometric and magnetics will be used to prioritize areas for ground follow-up starting this month. - The electromagnetic component of the survey was included at a very low cost and could produce some surprises. Baffin Gold Project: - All contracts are in place - Mobilization of equipment to begin shortly - First crews are expected on the ground in a couple of weeks - 5000 metres of drilling planned initially on Ridge Lake and Durette areas (see News Release #06-04) Financing: - The financing was closed on May 15th. It was oversubscribed with about $5.5 million raised (see News Release #06-16) - Our total working capital is now about $6.2 million Other Activities: - We are expecting further news from our partner, Alto Ventures on the Despinassy gold project in Quebec. (see News Release #06-08) - Discussions are on-going with a potential partner on our Rob uranium property in the Yukon, CMD now owns 100% of this property (see News Release #06-13) News Flow: We expect a steady news flow through the end of the year, with results from our airborne survey on the uranium property, and continuing ground work through the summer on that project leading to a possible drill project in the fall and winter. Baffin gold results through to the fall and a possible expansion of that drill program. And finally news from our partners on current drilling and new potential partner programs.
