Canadian Operations segment includes the exploration for, development of, and production of oil, NGLs, natural gas and other activities within Canada. Market Optimization segment is primarily responsible for the sale of the Company’s production to third-party customers and enhancing the associated netback price. The segment’s activities also include third-party purchases and sales of product to provide operational flexibility.

"...that ECA never recovered in NOV and continue to climb in a HIGH NG price environment. That suggests something is wrong somewhere." ECA may be the largest NG producer, but it is also a large oil producer and will be an even larger oil producer when its future oil sands plants are in place.To top that off, ECA is swimming in cash and have the largest land position of any oil company in Canada. What else do you ask for?
