RE: New President

RE: New PresidentThe Control-F1 corporate site was taken down when CA acquired them earlier this year. Using web.archive.org, I was able to dig up a short bio on him that used to be up on the Control-F1 site. Sifting through the archived news releases, it looks like he was pretty effective at building channel relationships, which would be a good thing for Axia to do. ------------------------ Geoff Thompson President and Chief Executive Officer As President and CEO, Geoff Thompson is responsible for determining and managing Control-F1's direction. Thompson has the proven business and leadership skills necessary to bring Control-F1 to the next level of corporate development. He has established himself as a top senior executive with a record of achievement that includes over 21 years of expertise in the software field. Prior to joining Control-F1, Thompson served as President at EFA Software Services, an international capital market systems and service firm. He established the company as a worldwide market share leader by developing and maintaining the organization's business plan. Thompson presided over the company's growth and increased revenues in excess of 600%. Thompson also held senior management positions at Digital Equipment Corporation, where he managed an $85M business for Digital Canada and was recognized as a key player during his tenure with the $14B company.
