RE: shell canada

RE: shell canada It will take 6 months to complete this deal, so I wouldn't wait for all of this money to come over just yet. Of course the sellers today are looking for a new home for their cash and some of it will find its way to other senior stocks. This deal will still need government approval and you just never know what your going to get, it could be another bank merger scenario if you ask me since the government has to thing about the consequences of letting these companies out of the public realm. Then Imperial will disappear and then Husky and then they may decide to relax the rules even let PCA get gobbled up and before you know it all the major integrated companies are all gone and so is the cash and profit they generate. I would concentrate on NXY and TLM as near-term TO candidates for now. CNQ is highly leveraged at this time and ECA it just too darn big unless you are talking super big deal but I don't think it time for super big deals just yet. I was thinking of picking up some SHC shares last week but I delayed a couple of days and I lost out big time. So my punishment is to buy more TLM and NXY and get ready for the next deal whether it comes tomorrow or next year. Cheers and GLA
