RE: nickel prices...raptor

RE: nickel prices...raptor"Some price retracement is expected due to the temporary strenghtening of the U.S.$ and general sell off in commodities-especially Cu.As well hedge funds and commodity traders are also factors in price fluctuations and some retracement is nomal" This is pretty much what I'm referring to... I don't think nickel prices will drop signifanctly...but i just think that the slowing u.s. economy.....higher interest rates and a stronger u.s. dollar will affect the price at least short term.....(though demand from china accounts for 30% of world demand of nickel) that being said...you're right in that with setbacks in new projects... and strong demand from the stainless steel sector, (the metal is also benefiting from resurgence in the aerospace sector) nickel (and aluminum) should remain strong....though when one drops...the others seem to follow suit! and...in my opinion...and that's all it is... I don't think LBE's share price should be affected too much by nickel prices..like the big players..(but they all are) but should be driven more by the advancements we are making towards becoming a mid-tier producer...
