RE: one more question for Con.CC

RE: one more question for Con.CCScan, When I saw the Soleus photos a couple of days ago, it seemed like deja vu all over again. They had a "working" phone at last years CES and Barcelona, and showed it off. Now they're doing the same thing this year. But if you look at the amount of money they burnt through in the last 12 months, what exactly did they accomplish with it? Where did it go? Sure they hired a lot of people, but wouldn't you do that after contracts have been signed and you're ramping up for confirmed number of sales? If they're not going to announce at CES, when are they going to announce? This is free worldwide publicity. So if they're not announcing at this event, then you could be right and they don't have any contracts. Sort of reminds me of Microsoft at Comdex when Visi-on came out from Visisoft. Not to be outdone, Bill Gates wired together some of his old DOS applications (pre-windows) and made it appear they were all integrated. It was all rigged to make it appear they had a Windows beta at the show when in fact it was "simulated". They were able to keep people from buying Visi-on because Windows was just around the corner. Years later MS finally shipped Windows 1.0, buggy of course. I hope ICS is not following in their footsteps. It would be nice if someone at CES could get their hands on the Soleus phone and give it a good testing to see what features are actually working and if there are any bugs. WizWiz BTW, a few hours after I posted those Soleus pictures to this group, I got a Google email alert on them. Darn that Google is fast! Now I'm thinking I should have bought Google shares instead of ICS, at least Google works and they have customers.
