WestwindIt is not a question of whether they have been sacked or not. the important thing here is that Westwind knowingly sold into positive news on two occasions right from the opening bell. Those two positive news announcements generated over 1m shares of buying. Rather than slowly feeding their shares into a market on an orderly basis as the share price was rising, Westwind simply hit the bids sending the worst possible message to the market. This message is being witnessed today with additional selling coming out ie. TD who blew out 300,000 shares today. This in my view and obviously others, is why investors long the stock are upset with Westwind and want to know why they have behaved in this fashion. There does not appear to be any excuse other than simple incompetence in managing a clients sell order. If i were the client, I would be upset knowing I could have realized more per share. So lets not hear any more about conspiracy theories. Westwind aint that smart. Nor are they expected to be. Simply doing a bad job!! My opinion.
