read this kaiser hold atna Kaiser says hold Atna for Pinson payoff 2007-03-13 18:46 MT - In the News John Kaiser, writing in a Feb. 15, 2007, Bottom-Fish Action covering the period Jan. 21-Feb. 10, says hold his old pal Atna Resources Ltd. at $1.60. Mr. Kaiser said buy five times between November, 1994, and December, 1999, at prices from 30 cents and $1.16. An investment of $1,000 each time is worth $14,629. The bottom-fishing guru notes Atna in January, 2007, released initial drill results from its Jarbidge gold project in Nevada that disappointed. Jarbidge is a Midas-style gold-silver low sulphidation epithermal bonanza vein prospect that produced before 1937. It hopes to resume drilling in the spring. Atna's price has been trending up, perhaps because speculators are starting to catch on that Barrick Gold Corp. may not fulfill its spending requirements on the Pinson gold project. Barrick in April, 2006, elected to back in for 70 per cent by spending $30-million (U.S.) over three years. Barrick has just over two years left to spend the full amount. Patient investors are betting that Atna will regain its 70 per cent or will strike some kind of favourable deal with Barrick. Doug Casey's International Speculator also likes Atna. He said buy in December, 2005, at $1.52, and in October, 2006, at $1.07.
