the new nickel discovery.........GGL posts a map showing about 3km of strike of the geology that hosts the nickel. the belt is S-SW/N-NE trending. the map shows about the top 2km of the Winter Lake north property and the bottom 1km of the Zip-de property. the rocks appear to dip to the west. i would hazard a guess that GGL staked the rest of the ground between Zip-de/du/da to amalgamate their property into one. it's likely then that PFN has staked the ground adjacent Winter Lake North to the south and west to cover the extension of the belt. of course this belt is in the very early stages, but further finds of nickel on surface by either company will help the area get headlines. time will tell over the summer if this turns out to be another voiseys bay type discovery or not.
i still hold PFN for their River Valley property. thats where i see the long term value for the company. with Pd moving past $400/oz soon, i would expect another round of exploratory drilling on some of the additional targets they have inside the gabbro body away from the main contact area where they have known palladium reserves. if Pd gets to $500, then we could see a feasibility study and potential mine production from River Valley.
i still feel this stock is extremly undervalued.
