RE: Bertha and her ilk"It is also worth considering the “tonnage” at Ferguson Lake. I see all sorts of numbers being bandied about, but in truth, the project needs less than 20,000 tonnes in a 43-101 compliant category (that is, not inferred, but indicated or better). Why? The best likely mining rate achievable given the location is about 3000 tonnes/day. This is about 1 million tonnes/year. At a combined 2% cut-off, this is 20,000 tonnes of metal/year, which is not a bad entry level tonnage. Mining companies will not get any credit from the street or, more importantly, financial institutions, for a mine life over 10 years. Hence, as long as there is about 20,000 tonnes in the 43-101 report, that is all we need. The rest, which appears to be considerable, is blue sky, and can stay that way for now. We know that it is likely there, but we just don’t need it now."
20 000 tones of metal a year? adjust your wish list and quit dreaming of your blue sky.Why not wait until a NI 43-101 is done.
What a promotion!
