You and I had this discussion via a different medium many, weeks ago. Andre had said they would be drilling in July sometime and yet other "sources" said they were already drilling at that time. At first we chose to believe the boss because we could not get absolute confirmation one way or the other at that time. However, the company that the seven [that's 7 long years] year old basher brigade says is a pump and dump, has not 'pumped' as those bad guys call it, in the one area that they should have, namely by announcing weeks ago that they HAD already started their 2007 drilling season. Since we originally got the info one more source has privately stated that they have been drilling for a while now. That's three people that we believe should be in the know. ASK YOURSELVES WHY, WHEN "OTHERS" ALREADY KNOW, ARE WE AGAIN THE LAST TO KNOW? THE ANSWER IS BECAUSE THAT IS BUSINESS AS USUAL. AS WITH VIRTUALLY ALL COMPANIES, THE SMALLER SHAREHOLDERS ARE THE LAST TO KNOW ANYTHING. SOMETIMES THE INFORMATION THAT A COMPANY HAS MUST BE GIVEN OUT ON A 'NEED TO KNOW' BASIS. THAT MAKES SENSE WHEN YOU CONSIDER THE LEGALITIES THAT MIGHT BE INVOLVED. THEY ALSO MIGHT NOT WANT TO TIP THEIR HAND ON SOME SENSATIVE ISSUE. IN STARFIELD'S CASE I AM OF THE OPINION THAT WHAT THE CEO SAID IS THE TRUTH. HE SAID, IN SUBSTANCE, THAT THEY DISCOVERED SOMETHING VERY GOOD AND VERY LARGE IN THE PGE REALM AND IT WASN'T 1500m DOWN EITHER. LET'S JUST SAY THEY HAVE BEEN DRILLING SINCE MAY 15th. BY NOW USING THAT SHALLOW RIG THEY HAVE, THEY HAVE DRILLED MANY HOLES AND HAVE COVERED MANY METERS WITHOUT EVEN ANNOUNCING THAT THEY STARTED. IF THAT IS AS SOME OF US BELIEVE IT TO BE, THEN WE CAN SAY: FIRST- THEY ARE WAY AHEAD OF WHAT MOST WE BELIEVE THEM TO BE. SECOND- SOME CORES HAVE BEEN IN THE LAB FOR A WHILE. [The company DOES HAVE testing capabilities at the campsite. They can tell if they are drilling into 'granite' or are on the mark. They can even tell the approximate grade of what has been drilled. That dear friends is a fact]. THIRD- THEY ARE CLOSE TO PROVING THE 'PREDICTABILITY OF THE DISCOVERY' AS ANDRE HAD SAID THEY WANTED TO DO THIS YEAR. FOURTH- WE MAY BE GETTING A NICE SURPRISE SOONER THAN WE THINK. FIFTH- of a much lesser importance, we can see why the bashers have been attacking the metallurgy of the pge's. It is because they to are of the persuasion that Starfield has been and is already exploring that tremendous find that the CEO spoke of. The bashers strongly suspect that much of what is being drilled will prove to be good news both in quantity and quality A N D that the metallurgy is going to work in the recovery stage [BECAUSE WHY BOTHER CONTINUING IF WHAT YOU HAVE CAN'T BE ECONOMICAL OR IS NOT ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY].
