NR: AEN starts drilling 3rd well at Causeway Antrim Energy starts drilling third well at Causeway 2007-08-20 16:39 ET - News Release Mr. Stephen Greer reports ANTRIM STARTS THIRD WELL ON THE CAUSEWAY TREND, UK NORTH SEA Antrim Energy Inc. has commenced drilling the third well in Antrim's 2007 three-well program in Causeway (Antrim 65.5 per cent) in the U.K. North Sea. The 211/22a-8 well will target the Ness sandstone sequence on the southwestern flank of the Causeway structure. 22a-8 is designed to appraise the West Causeway 211/22a-3 discovery made in 1984, which tested up to 5,500 barrels of oil per day from the Ness sandstones. The 22a-8 well will be drilled approximately 1.4 kilometres northeast of 22a-3 to an estimated depth of 3,930 metres (12,900 feet). The well will take approximately 35 days to drill.
