Eng as the company's new President and Chief Executive Officer. "It's a great privilege to be associated with Victoria Resource Corporation. "Victoria has a very strong and motivated team of geologists with a high level of experience in finding gold deposits in the Western U.S. Further, the current general economic context should continue to be very supportive to the US dollar-denominated price of gold which will remain our commodity of focus." In addition, the Company announces the granting of stock options to directors and an officer of the Company to purchase up to 2.1 million common shares at an exercise price of $0.60 per share and an expiry of August 20, 2012 pursuant to the company's new stock option plan. In accordance with the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange, shares acquired on the exercise of stock options are subject to a four-month hold period from the date of grant.
