RE: burrowsjBased on your logic palm tree, the only oil sands lands worth developing are the ones already in development. Based on that same logic 12 years ago there were no oil sands lands worth developing. Suncor and group picked the easiest land to develop and they are scooping the oil sands right out of the ground with huge shovels. If you deny the feasibility of other methods for developing oil sands then you are really not thinking at all. I've lived here my whole life and a resource once considered worthless is now propelling Alberta's entire economy and largely propelling Canada's economy. To say it will stop with the easiest to mine oil (because that's what they are doing, mining it) is extremely short sighted. I repeat what I've said many times. There is not enough oil from conventional drilling to make up for the demand therefore oil sands will be developed more and more. You can go and buy more Suncor but my money is sitting with the junior players who will sell to some very oil hungry foreigners for an extremely handsome profit
