PontaxThe news is not very exciting. Results to date indicate only 7 of the 15 holes drilled into the main zone are worthy. The zone is pretty much confined to about 2 meters grading 75 g/t silver and .5% copper and .5% zinc. Not too exciting. Five drill holes drilled outside of the main zone turned up 2 new discoveries. The results are similar to the main zone.
What the drilling to date does tell is that there is POTENTIAL for a larger base metal zone within the area. My recommendation for SOI is to do a more regional evaluation of their large property (ie. fly an airborne mag survey over the entire property on 200 meter spacings and try taking soil samples on the ground at a similar spacing. This would indicate where there might be greater concentrations of base metal sulphides within the property.
What they have now is a 'sniff'. Continued work may prove up something better.
The BIG property that will get this stock moving is the Opinica blocks they have adjacent to the Eleonore South and Manuel discoveries. These two discoveries are BIG. SOI is going to benefit from both since they are well located for strike extensions of both zones. Further news in these areas will finally give this stock some respect. Be patient, we will all be rewarded within the next 3-6 months.
