UNITED PROTECTION SEC GR United strengthens its position on Western Canada's Remote Video Monitoring Market 11/13/2007 EDMONTON, Nov. 13, 2007 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX News Network) -- S. Jorstad, President and Chief Executive Officer of United Protection Security Group Inc. ("UPSG" or "the Company"), a Canadian based security services company, trading on the TSX Venture Exchange, under the symbol (TSX-V: UZZ) is pleased to announce that the Company has finalized a transaction with National Monitoring Centre International Ltd. (NMCI) of Edmonton, Alberta to acquire its Remote Video Monitoring assets and the rights to assume the Remote Video Monitoring of all of NMCI video customers effective December 1, 2007. NMCI will be paid a financial consideration involving a combination of cash and revenue sharing agreement on monitoring revenue for one year. The result of this additional monitoring business confirms United as the premier supplier of Remote Video Monitoring services in Western Canada. The new NMCI client's will substantially increase recurring revenues to United's already established client base. Don Allan, President and COO of United Protection Services Inc.
