Southern Pacific Resource Corp. is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the thermal production of heavy oil in Senlac, Saskatchewan on a property known as STP-Senlac, and thermal production of bitumen on a property located in the Athabasca region of Alberta known as STP-McKay, as well as exploration for and development of in-situ oil sands in the Athabasca region of Alberta. Its STP-McKay property consists of oil sands leases totaling approximately 37,760 acres. The Company’s operations also include Anzac, Hangingstone and Ells. The Company’s STP-McKay property is located approximately 45 kilometers northwest Ft. McMurray. The Anzac project covers approximately 117 kilometers of two-dimensional (2D) seismic. The Company owns 80% interest in Hangingstone project. The Ells project covers approximately 164 kilometers of two-dimensional (2D) seismic.

I''m not always right but ....If I'm wrong there are alot of people that will be a hell of alot worse off than I am: 2007-11-27 11:04 ET - News Release Southern Pacific Resource Corp. has closed its previously announced bought-deal financing to a syndicate of underwriters led by Canaccord Capital Corp., Orion Securities Inc. and Genuity Capital Markets. The corporation issued and sold 27,323,000 common shares at a price of $1.83 per share and 4,525,000 common shares, on a flow-through basis, at a price of $2.21 per flow-through share for gross proceeds of $60,001,340. An overallotment option granted to the underwriters to purchase an additional 1,357,000 flow-through shares at $2.21 per share was exercised and also closed today. Total gross proceeds from the financing, including the overallotment option, are $63,000,310. Add to this: Nov 27/07 Antony, David Michael Acquisition under a prospectus 10,000 $2.210 Nov 23/07 Mallabone, John, Ward 16,000 $2.210 Further: Previous pp that closed on june 8th was for 32 million at 2,90 (overallotment again) with warrants at 4$. Add to this I got the blessing from my technical guru!!!!! Now please give me some valid reasons why I should sell sell sell. I'm planning on doing quite the opposite. How about you short and I hold and lets see what happens to are net worth.
