RE: why didn''''t SP go way higher on news?
RE: why didn''''t SP go way higher on news?It was my explanation and this is a bull board.
Huh? What the heck does that mean?
My point was, you have to have some consistency when making those sorts of explanations. So if the stock's down on a down day in the stock market, that's one thing. But when it keeps going down, when the general markets swings back up, that's another. Either it follows the general market or it doesn't.
As far as penny stocks go (those that trade under $2 a share), I find they rarely follow the general market sentiment and are out there on their own.
Frankly, I thought Liberty's press release was pretty good -- not a blockbuster, but pretty good. You have a decent size intersection (14.2 meters) with decent nickel grades (1.37%). On that sort of news, generally I'd expect to see some sort of an uptick in the share price -- even if it is temporary. But Liberty didn't do that so obviously there's something else in play. What that is, I'm not sure.
But I'm still on the sidelines, waiting....
