63.80 metres at 2.54 g/t Gold - NICE!

63.80 metres at 2.54 g/t Gold - NICE!Great news out on Luna today. What really got my attention was the following quote below from the company President: "...it is the positive results from the bedrock of the central portion of Piaba that underscore the potential for depth expansion at Aurizona. Orogenic gold deposits, like Aurizona, typically have good vertical depth continuity. Despite this fact, only 5% of the 300 diamond and percussion holes drilled on the Aurizona project by past operators, have a vertical extent greater than 130 meters..." Sounds like they are just scratching the tip of the iceberg here as most of the big intercepts appear to be at depth and the drilling also appears to be open at depth - more specifically several of the big intercepts ended in mineralization. Fully permitted, production slated for Q1/2009, and with gold prices continuing to break alltime highs, I think 2008 is going to be a great year for Luna. Jay Taylor was on BNN TV late Dec./07 and had Luna as his top pick and felt it was a double at these levels. Good luck and happy new year to all!
