I agree its no surprise that a financing was announced today – however, I was worried it was going to be a lot larger. I think the ladder of warrants is interesting. (Tomorrow I will review all exercised and outstanding)
I attended the AGM and took away a few control issues with the sale of the Botavi property. GOD KNOWS how long this whole deal took to get signed and delivered. Finally, it’s all done with exchange approval. This by far is the biggest accomplishment for Iciena!
My speculation on the financing – (trust me I was not offered any) is this was done for two reasons – one, control and the second to get a few strong institutions backing or on board to support the deal.
If my hunch is correct will see them calling their “market books” and volume will return to this stock. Brazil is heating up on many fronts - the diamond exploration front is HOT! I am just glad all the years of politics are resolved, we have Chucks "right handman" on board, results forth coming and drilling to commence.
